“My mind is full of thoughts. What can I do?”
Claudia · Meditation beginner

Full Story
Claudia felt defeated every time she sat to meditate. Her mind flooded with work, chores, and endless to-dos. The harder she tried to quiet her thoughts, the more anxious she became—until she concluded that meditation simply “wasn’t for her.”
What she didn’t know was this: meditation was never about stopping thoughts. It’s about not being carried away by them.
With guidance, she began to practice “witnessing”—watching her thoughts like clouds passing in the sky, without judging, fighting, or indulging. When distractions arose again, she simply kept breathing, observing them arise and dissolve like bubbles.
She finally realized: “I am not my thoughts. I am just watching them.” That small gap transformed her struggle into relief. She no longer needed to be a person without thoughts—only a person who could see them.
